How to Fix a Slice

A slice is a ball flight path that for a right-handed golfer, curves severely from the left to the right. Depending on what poll you read, anywhere from 70 to 85 percent of beginner and high handicap golfers fight a slice. The slice is most pronounced when hitting your driver.

To know why you slice the ball and understand how to fix a slice, you’ll need to understand the ball flight laws.

Next you need to have a functional grip and proper setup to the ball.

Now that we know we have the proper setup, we can move on to how our swing is determining how the clubhead path and clubface angle and the relationship between the two, at impact, create the ball flight pattern.
